As I am dedicated to improving horse welfare, venturing into the world of positive reinforcement seemed like the logical next step.
Dominance based training methods belong in the past. Know we know better, we should do better. Training using positive reinforcement rather than negative reinforcement or even punishment can transform your relationship with your horse, promoting trust and developing a genuine partnership. With our social licence under threat, we should be doing everything we can to ensure we are behaving ethically, and not harming the animals we claim to love.
I can help you train everything from the basic foundation behaviours on the ground and husbandry skills, to fundamental ridden skills and gymnastic work.
For a one hour session, I charge £40 plus mileage at 45p per mile after 20 miles. Online training is also available. This involves you sending me video footage (maximum 5 mins) of your training and I will add a voiceover with my feedback. The charge for online training is £15 per video.
